Our Story

Hey there! I'm Beth Avis-Miles, and I'm absolutely thrilled to be sharing our journey with you.I was born and raised near Bardstown, KY where I attended school at St. Gregory Elementary and Bethlehem High School. My best friend, Anthony and I began dating in 2012 after being friends since we were in sixth
grade at St. Gregory. I attended WKU and received my Masters Degree in
Speech-Language Pathology in 2016. I moved back to Bardstown, and began
my career there.

Anthony proposed on a dreamy trip around Italy in fall of 2020. A few
months later, after five years of working in nursing homes and home
health, I decided to take a break from speech pathology. After a few
months off to finish planning our wedding, we got married in October
2021. We live in Coxs Creek, KY with our pups – Rocky, Lily, and Cooper. They're more than just pets; they're our constant companions, even joining us on our cross-country honeymoon.

I wasn’t really sure what to do next, but I knew that I had always dreamed of someday owning my own business. I bought a Glowforge laser around Thanksgiving 2021, on a whim. A week after buying the laser, with some encouragement from friends and family, I found myself at the St. Gregory Christmas Craft Show, showcasing what I had made so far. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and I knew that I wanted to continue to explore this medium. So, I decided to start a business, specializing in home decor, personalized signs, clothing, and jewelry.

One local event has always held a special place in my heart—the Bardstown Arts and Crafts Fair. It's the highlight of the year in Bardstown, and I've always longed to participate in it in some capacity, to connect with fellow artists and craft enthusiasts. A few months earlier, we had even specifically planned our wedding on the weekend of the fair, so our out of town guests could experience it with us. We started attending arts and crafts fairs in Louisville and the surrounding areas. In June 2022, a dear friend and I won first place in the Arts & Crafts Category at the Arts on the Green Festival in Oldham County, KY. It was such an honor and exciting experience to be a part of our first juried art show, much less to win an award!

In October 2022, we achieved one of our dreams- we were accepted to participate in the Bardstown Arts and Crafts Fair. It felt like a beautiful circle completing itself.

  • As time passed, demand grew, and our laser couldn't keep up. So, in September 2023, we upgraded to a Thunder Nova laser—a game-changer that was larger and faster, allowing us to bring even more creations to life.

  • Along the way, we’ve expanded our toolkit to include a heat press, a sublimation printer, multiple vinyl cutting
machines, and a sticker printer. We have also partnered with Avis Tool
Works, a local business in Coxs Creek, to use their fiber laser in order
to make metal signs and custom creations. These additions have allowed
us to bring even more creative possibilities to life.

My amazingly supportive husband Anthony really
makes this all possible. He's been my pillar of support every step of
the way. From encouraging me to start the business, to helping me with
paperwork and accounting, building our website together, loading and
unloading at craft shows, and sitting with me throughout the weekends to
keep me company, to being my best salesman—he's been my rock. This
journey wouldn't have been possible without him.

Our journey is a labor of love, creativity, and
a passion for making every space a bit more beautiful. We're thrilled
to have you along for the ride. Whether you're here to explore our
creations, find the perfect addition to your home, or simply soak up
some artistic inspiration, know that you're a part of our creative
family.

As of 2023, we've been fortunate enough to be
vendors in 15+ arts & crafts festivals around Kentucky and counting.
We’ve met so many other local artists and have been honored to make so
many friends throughout this journey. We’ve even expanded to online
sales and making promotional products for other businesses. It’s been an
incredible journey, and we can't wait to see where it takes us next.
Thank you for being a part of our story!
